Cpt. Bill Uhouse USMC (Ret.)
Bill Uhouse was a retired flight simulator mechanical engineer specializing in avionics. Bill Uhouse claimed to have been part of a team who worked on flight simulators to train human pilots to fly alien craft. Like Lazar's story, Uhouse's claims had remarkable internal consistency, were limited in scope to what he actually "saw" and had no obvious personal motivation.
In his disclosure inteview Bill Uhouse asserted a number of things about his past in the military and his envolvement in reverse-enginering of alien vehicles. Uhouse said that he spent 10 years in the Marine Corps, and four years with the Air Force as a civilian doing experimental testing on aircraft. He was a pilot in late WWII and during the Korean War. He was discharged as a Captain in the Marine Corps.
His most astonishing claims concern his work on flight simulators from 1954 onwards. He got a job with the Air Force at Wright Patterson where he was involved in experimental flight-testing on various different modifications of aircraft.
It was during his service at Wright Patterson when, according to his words, Uhouse was
approached by an individual who – and I’m not going to mention his name, in order to determine if I wanted to work in an area on new creative devices. And, that was a flying disc simulator. What they had done: they had selected several of us, and they reassigned me to A-Link Aviation, which was a simulator manufacturer. At that time they were building what they called the C-11B, and F-102 simulator, B-47 simulator, and so forth. Bill Uhouse claimed to have worked with an alien he dubbed “J-Rod” who helped him in understanding how to control the alien vehicle.
